Narendra Modi to inaugurate 'Run for Unity' marathon on December 15 from vadodara

The "Run For Unity" marathon will be inaugurated by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on December 15 in Vadodara.

Shri Narendra Modi will flag the run at 8:00 am from  from Navlakhi Ground in the city(Vadodara) where he will arrive by 7.15 am on the day of the event.


"It will be a unique event and 1.85 lakh people will participate in the marathon. This will be a record in itself," Vadodara District Collector Vinod Rao who is the organiser of the event.

A whopping 1.85 lakh persons have registered themselves online to participate in the “Run for Unity” marathon in Vadodara to be held on December 15 in the presence of Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

“We are provide tight security as well as we’ve taken a care of all aspects to provide perfect security to the peoples who will be present at the Navlakhi ground of run for unity Vadodara Marathon“, Saurabh Patel the Power and Energy Minister of Gujarat State Government said.

This historic run, Run for Unity is organized on 15th December, 2013 i.e. the 63rd Punya Tithi of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
