Shah Rukh is known to don different styles in every movie. In his next ‘Happy New Year,’ he is seen sporting around 4 different looks for his character.  Be it the simple bearded look, or the blonde streak hair or the all-blonde look. Know how to get these looks here

If you are keen on ditching those chemical-based shampoos like SRK, you could use natural, home remedies that are beneficial for healthy hair growth. Here is how you can make a natural hair shampoo and conditioner at home.

Shikakai natural shampoo

Shikakai can be used as a herbal hair shampoo.  The easiest way to use it as a shampoo is by mixing some shikakai powder (as per the lenght of your hair) with water. You could also add some more herbal ingredients like reetha or soapnuts powder to it as well. Get reetha powder and mix it with shikakai powder and warm water. Shampoo your hair once the water cools down. You could make various other shikakai hair packs and shampoos according to your hair type.

Natural oiling conditioner

For a natural conditioner, you could simply oil your hair a night before. You could use your preferred choice of oil, be it coconut oil, sesame oil or even olive oil. Apply any of these thoroughly on your scalp and hair. For the moisturizing effect of the oil, wrap your hair in a hot towel for a few minutes. Or cover your hair with a shower cap. Then, wash your hair the next morning with your regular shampoo.  For that shine and bounce, rinse your hair with  apple cider vinegar.
