INTERMOT 2014 Live – Triumph Bonneville T214, NewChurch, Spirit

Purely cosmetic exercises.

At the INTERMOT 2014, British sportsbike manufacturer Triumph Motorcycles showcased not one but three special editions of its Bonneville classic retro motorcycle namely the T214, NewChurch and Spirit.

Triumph Bonneville T214

The Bonneville T214 pays tribute to the 214 mph land speed record set by Johnny Allen astride a streamliner based on the Thunderbird 650. This record led to the Bonneville nameplate which then went on to attain an iconic status.

Coming to the special edition, the T214 is based on the T100 black edition and features a hand-painted blue and white color scheme that matches the record-setting bike’s livery. A smaller headlight and red contrast stitching for the seat are the other standout features.

Triumph Bonneville NewChurch

The Bonneville NewChurch is named after a location in Austria called Neukirchen which hosts the ‘Triumph Tridays’ event every year. No prices for guessing what the name translate to in English.

The Bonneville NewChurch is available in red/white or blue/white color themes with black mud-guards, headlight bowl, handlebar and mirrors. The alloy wheels are finished in a black and red combo while the seat sports a custom profile. The fuel tank proudly displays the brand’s latest badge.
