Celebrating 45 Years, of the Same Thing

I was surfing online one day looking for inspiration for a custom cartoon client when I saw a banner ad for another company – “Celebrating 35 Years” of something or other. It was a fairly boring product.

That got me thinking – 35 years of that same thing day after day after day… Sheesh! So this sad little idea presented itself.

It took a little bit to get the number of years, the look of the storefront, the kind of store, and the look on the owner’s face right – but in the end, this cartoon makes me happy.
