The Jeep Grand Cherokee Red Vapor, Wrangler Unlimited X, and Rubicon “Stealth” special editions have been showcased at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Red Vapor
The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Red Vapor, as the name suggests is swathed in a lustrous red livery. The grille, secondary airdam and the badges are finished in glossy black while the 20-inch Goliath alloy wheels are treated with a black chrome finish.
The interior is finished in a full black theme. The exclusive feature of the special edition is the Active Noise Cancellation technology which is claimed to carry nothing but the engine note into the cabin.
Speaking of the engine note, the 6.4-litre HEMI V8 petrol motor which pumps out 468 PS and 624 Nm of torque continues untouched. 0-100 kph comes in just 5 seconds and the top speed stands at 257 km/h.
Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X
The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X is another cosmetic exercise by the American SUV specialist. The special edition comes painted in Firecracker Red exterior color.
The off-roader gets a body colored modular hard top, glossy black inserts on the body colored grille, raised dual air intake vents on the bonnet and 18-inch glossy black alloy wheels.
The 284 PS 3.6-litre petrol and the 2.8-litre turbo diesel engines are on offer, both paired to a 5-speed automatic transmission. Of course, 4WD is standard.
Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon “Stealth” show car
Kitted out with Mopar accessories, the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon “Stealth” edition is being showcased equipped with the 200 hp 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine.
Jeep says this vehicle is “an example of extreme technical modification for the toughest off-road use and striking looks in which no detail is overlooked: from the Performance bonnet with air vents and black mesh grille to the brand-new LED light bar.”
The car sports off-road bumpers (Rubicon X design), flat wings, rock rails, increased ride height and 37-inch tyres.
The exterior also features an Iron Peltrox Iron textured paint while the interior sports vintage-style leather seats and upholstery.
